A beautiful experience in a surprising encounter between otherwise very different musical and cultural worlds. But that's exactly what music can do! More than 30 different strings sounded with and against each other in a captivatingly tight and juicy rhythmic tension - and I felt as if I was on board a sailing ship facing a fresh wind. The musical journey picked up speed! Dawda's and the quartet's musical mastery and generosity filled the hall and we let ourselves float along in the music's swift current. Oh, may this music never stop!
